Beaufort County Warrant Records Beaufort County Warrant Records

Start with the record holder. BCSO’s Warrants Clerk handles county status questions, the Clerk of Court keeps Circuit and General Sessions files, and the clerk responsible for the city or lower-court case maintains that docket. Each office answers a different part of the process. For your own case or a relative’s, have the case or ticket number ready and identify the court named on the notice. The responsible court must confirm status and next steps.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.

  • Circuit or General Sessions case file: contact the Beaufort County Clerk of Court, 102 Ribaut Road, Suite 208, at 843-255-5050. The Clerk keeps case records but does not schedule General Sessions dates.
  • Lower-court traffic, bond, or missed date: call the Magistrate Court named on the notice. Beaufort Central is at 104 Ribaut Road, 843-255-5700; Bluffton Magistrate is at 4819 Bluffton Parkway, 843-255-5610.
  • City ticket or municipal case: use the issuing city clerk. Beaufort Municipal Court: 843-525-7036; Bluffton Municipal Court: 843-706-4530; Port Royal Municipal Court: 843-986-2229; Hardeeville Municipal Court: 843-784-3366. Hilton Head Island’s former municipal court dissolved, so verify its current county venue.
  • Booking or bond while in custody: contact the Beaufort County Detention Center at 100 Ribaut Road, 843-255-5200. Its front desk can provide current bond information.
  • Existing Sheriff’s Office records: submit a public-record request through BCSO’s JustFOIA portal. A request does not create an instant warrant search or new roster.
  • Legal advice or a court appearance: speak with a licensed South Carolina attorney and the issuing court. The Sheriff’s Office cannot decide a court motion or reset a hearing.

This private reference does not offer a direct message form or personal warrant assistance. It cannot verify a name, recall an order, post bond, or arrange a surrender. Call the official office listed for the matter and confirm the current procedure before visiting or paying.
